ok, so i've read alot about his guy Devendra Barnhart. He is catagorized into the genre of psychadelic folk, which itself leads me to suspect how much i may or may not like him. But i thought, since i hadn't heard him actually sing, i would give him a try. So i did some research and found some clips of him playing in various locations, with various bands as well as solo, i even watchen en entire interview with him and managed to set aside pre-judgement about him after listening to him talk about how much acid he takes... I really tried to give this guy a fair shot here.
However, upon hearing him sing, i believe i would prefer to run a cheese grater over my open eyes then listen to this man sing...ever.
i actually heard him played on xpn this evening and by sheer impulse i threw a clementine at the stereo without even thinking about it.

haha!!! that is awesome... i think that guy was on a late night show last night... i was working and it was background noise.... noise.... where is my cheese greater!!
seriously ken, i am so glad you understand cause some of my other good music listening friends LOVE him, which totally confuses me!
