I was sitting on my bed working on my mid term papers for history class. Being my day off, it was definitly difficult and slow going to get motivated even to start. So after about 2 hours i was taking a break and really not wanting to get back to it when the phone rang. Don was going out for a ride on his Harley this afternoon and invited me to ride along. Now in theory i'm aprehensive about these things, as i am prone to thinking alot about the worst case scenarios, of which there are many really bad onces involving a motorycle ride. But Don is a responsible and very experienced rider so i went for it. I was pleased to note the italian flag on the back of the seat and the long black leather tassles hagning from the handles. Quinticential!
We went around the cooper river park, up cuthbert and down haddon ave. Turning corners where you're leaning really far near the ground is a bit scary, but it is otherwise increadibly invigorating! Somehow it's just what i needed to perk back up. All that wind in your face, and atmosphere around you, its delightful!
I'm not convinced i'd ever want to own one, or be in charge of driving one, but riding on the back of one is great!
