new day, new blog

Current events swirling round my head:
I'm going to hawaii in August for Teddy and Jaiyme's wedding. I am so excited for a vacation, and with my good friend Heather, who will no doubt make the best of travel companions!
We had a father's day/sophie's birthday party this afternoon and it was so nice! we have gotten so good at throwing these little family parties, that it was a cinch!
I had a cake made to look like an open book from Pretty Sweet Bakery in Haddonfield. they make awsome custom cakes!

I have signed up for all my classes for the fall. I am very excited to start full time, though i never thought i would be int his mindset about school! I am actually really enjoying it, and getting alot of it. Just the four classes i have taken so far, makes me feel like i have a more comprehensive base knowledge that everyone else in my life already seems to have. Not ot mention all the cool classes i can take about things i'm interested in! i can't wait for my psychology class..yum

Also, i found a place, that fo the first time, made me want to buy a house and move to. I've not had this feeling in a long time, of wanting to move somewhere in particular. Everyoen where i've lived, i've just ended up there, or it jsut seemed like a good idea at the time. But this is like, "how much do houses cost there?" invoking. Its on the rancocas creek in Mt Holly. A longtime family friend who works with my dad just recently moved there. We went for a picnic there last weekend, and i found myself there again all evening last night just hanging out on the deck, enjoying the weather and animals and plants around us. Its just far out of the way that is is incredibly quiet, undisturbed nature and beautiful. All the homes backup onto the creek, and most have floating docks with canoes. Its got a well established community of people, and its just the right size. i love love love it there!
