After 3 days of all my free time being sucked up into the papers i had to write for my world civ final, its finally over! as it turns out, when my teacher said he wanted 3-4 pages, i'm possibly the only one who completed the 3-4 pages, sincgle spaced ...nerd alert! But i'm worried here, see i'm finding this school thing to be not at all overwhelming. I mean, there are times its challenging, but really it mostly comes down to time management. So here i am, jsut waiting for the other shoe to drop. Will it be scary when i'm full time? or just unprepared for the reality of a harder university when i transfer out of community college? eek!
Whats hilarious though, and perhaps a good example of my geek roots: How my parents, out of concern for Pook's recent high levels of Dr. Who episode ingestion, have decided to give her a self made class in Art history. They have given her books to read, and adjusted thier netflix queue to includes a run of documentaries on the topic. Oh poor Pook, can't get a break on her own vacation....but really, i was wondering if i could take that class too....the nerdom emerges again!
In that vein, current obsession: The Mighty Boosh! It's funnier than any show on american tv just now. watch episodes here
And i do believe i ripped up my pop quiz on Alexander the Great. YEEE-ah!
I am having a party sunday for Jason and Jules' Bon Voyage. I was considering having it outside in the yard, but after leana pointed out the potential bug situation, i've re-evaluated and am scheming to have it inside, where a cranium challenge may errupt. hazzah!
And of course, i can't stop thinking about the trip to hawaii heather and i will be taking in August! ...which will be imidiatly followeed by a long period of being poor, but well tanned :)
